Fall 2009 Public Meeting Schedule
The Bottineau Transitway Alternatives Analysis Study is exploring transit improvement alternatives that will have direct benefits, opportunities and impacts on people that live and travel through the Bottineau Corridor. A Bottineau transitway has a tremendous potential to improve mobility and accessibility, reduce congestion, improve air quality, and foster development opportunities for the Bottineau Corridor.
Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority (HCRRA) is looking for your input this fall. Goals include:
- Providing information on the comparative evaluation of transitway alternatives
- Obtaining your input on the technical results of the study
- Obtaining your input regarding the implications of the various alternatives on your community
- Providing information on next steps in the study process
The HCRRA is hosting a series of open houses to give area residents, businesses, and institutions an opportunity to share their ideas on transit alternatives generated from the Bottineau Transitway Alternatives Analysis Study. The open houses will be held at the following locations and times:
- Wednesday, September 30, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Crystal City Hall Community Room, 4141 Douglas Drive N, Crystal. Presentation at 6:30 p.m. MAP
- Thursday, October 1, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Maple Grove City Hall, 12800 Arbor Lakes Parkway N, Maple Grove. Presentation at 6:30 p.m. MAP
- Tuesday, October 6, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Harrison Neighborhood Association Community Room, 503 Irving Avenue N, Minneapolis. Presentation at 6:30 p.m. MAP
- Wednesday, October 7, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Brooklyn Park City Hall, 5200 85th Avenue N, Brooklyn Park. Presentation at 6:30 p.m. MAP
- Thursday, October 8, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: North Regional Library, 1315 Lowry Avenue N, Minneapolis. Presentation at 6:30 p.m. MAP
Open house materials will be posted on this website if you are unable to attend one of the open house meetings for review. Input on the open house materials (or any issue related to the Bottineau Study) can be provided by selecting the contact button at the top of this page. In addition, a summary of all open house meetings will be provided on this website as public input is compiled.
