Regional Transitway System
Regional policies affect the development of the Twin Cities region including land use patterns and transportation system characteristics. The transitway system is an evolving component of the regional transportation system and the Bottineau Transitway is a key element of the transitway system plan.
Regional Objectives for Growth The policies guiding the development of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area are articulated in the 2030Regional Development Framework. Most recently updated in December 2006, the 2030 RegionalDevelopment Framework established four policies for guiding growth in the region: Accommodate growth in a flexible, connected and efficient manner |
